Renay West is from Houston, Texas. She is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and has been with the Assemblies of God World Missions since 1998. She spent seven years in Thailand, where she also ministered in surrounding nations. In 2006, Renay began her current ministry in Argentina. She founded the ministry Aguas de Sanidad (Healing Waters) in early 2007. Since that time, God has opened amazing doors and given Renay and her team the opportunity to minister freedom and healing to thousands not only in Argentina, but in other nations as well. Renay's personal testimony of God's power to rescue and restore has given her a platform to speak into the lives of others whose lives have been devastated by childhood sexual abuse and family violence.
Renay is a passionate communicator who nurtures a dependency on the Holy Spirit during her services and conferences. You will enjoy her sense of humor as she communicates and relates her testimony, as well as stories of how God is still intervening in shattered lives and setting the captives free!
Renay and the Aguas de Sanidad team continue to receive invitations in both secular and religious settings, both in Argentina as well as other nations. They are in the process of having Aguas de Sanidad established as an official Social Foundation in Argentina, with the hopes of increasing their sphere of influence (public schools, prisons, shelters). Not only have the provincial governments in several provinces of Argentina declared the Aguas Conference an officially-backed event of the government (by decree), many members of government have attended including the vice-governor of the Province of Misiones, a large group of representatives from the Provincial Police Force of the Province of La Pampa, and many others. The Women's Council of Argentina (the government department for the protection of women) conducted an analysis of all of the materials that the Aguas Team has developed; they reported back on the excellence of the material. The only disclaimer they stated was that, in their opinion, there was too much of an emphasis on forgiveness. We believe that forgiveness is not primarily for the perpetrator, but it's a critical part of the victim's journey to freeing theirselves and cutting the tie to an injustice in order to move ahead into their future.
